I'd bought this compact disc from Tower Records more than 10 years ago.

King Crimson

I recall sometime in the early 1990s, I was at someone's home browsing through many 12-inch vinyl LP records that person had kept inside a re-used brown paper carton box once used to pack fruit.

On the four sides of that carton box were printed red color capital letter words: CRIMSON KING APPLES

That person didn't own any record of King Crimson. I didn't either, but I'd bought 10 compact discs of King Crimson in the 1990s.

Deep Purple In Rock

I could recall way back in 1969 during a Chemistry class in my high school when the teacher was telling the students about a liquid chemical solution that had the color of dark purple.

One of the students exclaimed, "Deep Purple" and the whole class cheered and roared in laughter.

Middle of the Road

I didn't go and see the live performance of this band called Middle of the Road when its members came to Singapore in 1972.

But a school friend of mine did and he could afford only a low-priced ticket, far away from the stage.

However, my friend was smart enough to bring along his dad's powerful pair of binoculars to look at Sally Carr wearing a pair of very short hot pants.

Double Spring Power Twister

This brand new power twister was bought at below cost price from someone selling it on eBay Singapore.

The seller said this power twister was a tough challenge for him and he could not bend it fully into its U-shape.

He regretted buying this power twister from an internet on-line store that he couldn't get an opportunity to bend it.

You need some training to bend this power twister, just like what I'd done as shown in my photograph.

This was my one and only piece of Monkees vinyl record I'd ever owned, and it was sold to a buyer on Yahoo Auctions Singapore in 2007.
